Abid brings over 20 years of expertise in rug importing from Afghanistan, a trade deeply rooted in his family’s heritage. His profound understanding of the artistry and culture behind each rug is invaluable. Kel, a Moroccan rug
importer, shares a similar passion for the unique stories woven into every piece. Our paths crossed when Kel brought her rugs to Abid to be washed, and what started as a simple transaction blossomed into a friendship and a thriving partnership.

For several years, we have worked together on the Mornington Peninsula helping people find their perfect rug.  Our mutual dedication to quality and authenticity led us to envision something more – our own exclusive range of handmade rugs.

Our journey took us to Bhadohi, India, the heart of rug craftsmanship, where we found a manufacturer who shared our commitment to excellence. With this
collaboration, we brought our vision to life, creating rugs that blend
traditional techniques with contemporary designs.

Today, we are proud to welcome you to our store in the picturesque village of Mt Eliza on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. Here, you’ll discover a collection of handmade rugs that reflect our journey, our expertise, and our passion. Each
